চলতি বছরে বিশ্বজুড়ে এয়ারলাইন্স ব্যবসায় লোকসানের পরিমাণ ৫ হাজার ২০০ কোটি ডলার ছাড়িয়ে যাবে বলে আশঙ্কা আন্তর্জাতিক আকাশ পরিবহন সংস্থার। আগামী বছরও এই লোকসান অব্যাহত থাকবে বলে মনে করছে সংস্থাটি। তবে ক্ষতি মোকাবিলায় কার্গো ও বাণিজ্যিক ফ্লাইটের সংখ্যা বৃদ্ধিসহ ব্যয় সংকোচনে গুরুত্ব দিচ্ছে বিভিন্ন এয়ারলাইন্স।
